Warsong
Onyx pelt flashed coolly under the intense rays of scorching sun, her skin blistering, but the fresh winds of speed lifting some of the distasteful heat. Diving into reed beds, whisking over the décor of scattered puddles and small ponds, allowing the light spray of icy water to soak into a hot pelt, the femme paused briefly, unable to go any further with the intense humidity. Short, choppy breaths were taken, rough tongue lolling as the stress of heat increased. Oculars closed, feeling that if she started at nothing but blank darkness, it would cool her off. Claws drew red blood, canines flashed, and glowing eyes glittered with evil malice. Warsong jolted from the black nothing, still hearing the defiant screeches of Rividwinter, the brute who had been captured, the clan mate she couldn’t save. An enraged snarl emitted from her cords, talons breaking down withered and cracked dirt, hissing as it stuck and crumbled between her claws. That wolf, her triumphant features nailed into her head forever, racing further away with her prize; it was her fault, if she had been an ounce stronger, than maybe the tom could be still living in the forest. Grunting, as if dismissing the thought, Warsong lashed her tail and began running again. Reaching the training hollow, thoughts were focused on the task placed ahead; Dawnpaw, her apprentice was to be trained, and judging by the time she had awakened the femme from her new sleeping area, it wouldn’t be a long wait. The broad onyx femme blinked a pair of lime green hues, adapting her visuals to the bright light. Brushing away the clusters of bushes that had grown over New leaf, Warsong crouched low to the loamy soil, chops closing with an audible snap. A new Dawn was rising, and it fore told many great things to come.[/blockquote]

The.new.Dawn.rises
Tail streamed out behind the newly appointed apprentice as she made her way towards the hollow where she would begin her training. The ever burning fire that burned within her was flaring today as her excitement and energy rose. The ginger pelt flashed through the underbrush as she hoped to beat her mentor to the hollow. Skidding to a stop at the edge of the clearing she let her body suck in themuch needed oxygen. After taking a few breaths she pushed her way into the training arena her sides still heaving from her run. A black tail stuck out from the surrounding area from under a low bush. Pokign her head into the bush Dawnpaw flicked her ear to signal that she was here and ready to go. She was too out of breath to speak.

Warsong Chops were lifted into an amused smile, the crooked ends wavering off, knitting deep into onyx cheeks. The breathless apprentice had made quite an effort to arrive at the training hollow first, the thought pleasing her silly. Waiting for a brief moment until Dawnpaw caught her breath, the soot pelted warrior prepared for the introductions and training lesson speech. “Hello Dawnpaw, glad that you arrived just on time. I’m thinking we will begin with special training; you’ll be learning affective moves that will demand a great deal of damage on the wolves. So, pretend that I am a wolf, what would be the first move you make?” Warsong rose to her paws, puffing her chest outward in an attempts to make her look larger than her original size. The ginger femme had a fiery spirit, a perfect fighter to take down a wolf, the proper training had to be acquired first.[/blockquote]

Dawnpaw
Dipping her head in a small sign of respect for her mentor, and it was indeed...small, the fae let her teacher's words wash over her. For once she became a warrior nothing would stop her. From what you might ask? From something that even Dawnpaw did not know but drove her with ferocious force.
So it was wolves this lesson eh? The small femme thought to herself, Well bring it on! The apprentice let her mind clear of any other thoughts and let her body slowly sink to the forest floor in a pouncing position. Closing her eyes she breathed in, and out. With her orbs still shut she answered her mentor.
The first thing I would do is to..."
The small apprentice slid backwards to become one with the underbrush. Circling around silently she came to her mentor's back and crept closer. Dawnpaw was careful where she put her paws and slowed her breathing waay down.
"This"
The femme barely let her voice above a whipser as she swiped out her front paw aiming for Warsong's tendon in her back leg.

Warsong Oculars the colour of the most luminous green traced the light steps of her ginger apprentice, becoming more wary of her surroundings as the young femme’s voice dwindled ever softer. Soon even the breathing was undecipherable, the forest eerily quiet, though limbs moved not an inch, keeping locked and frozen as her student learned and demonstrated her knowledge. There. The slight pang of stinging, the flesh nicked clean open. Dawnpaw truly knew her way around, picking out the weakness before striking blindly, being able to comprehend that even though her enemy stood taller, there was always a tender spot that would could be cut down to fitted size. “Very good, but after you hit that spot, the wolf cripple yes, but he will also figure out your location. Those jaws are lordly and have a more likely chance of hitting directly on rather than miss. So when he turns around to snap, you have your claws ready to blind him by scratching away his eyes.” As if in a dance, Warsong whirled on her toes, sheathed paws slamming down on the young student’s head. Then ever so gracefully did she shift her weight, gliding over the small frame, coming to land behind her rump. “After you have accomplished that your enemy will be without sight. Having a good grip on the snout you jump over him, taking another attack on the weak point. This continues until your enemy becomes thoroughly confused and may flee. It is important that you avoid the mouth, because once in their hold it is nye impossible to become free.”
“Tell me something that can be done about the jaws.”[/blockquote]
