S h a d o w p e l t -

The black she-cat lie in the sun in front of the warriors den,grooming herself.She wish she would get to battle by her clan against the wolves but,she and Rainriver had to stay behind to gaurd camp.It made her feel weak and cowardly,but at leasst she could help.Gaurding camp is important because if there were any wolves that would invade camp,she and Rainriver were there to fight.

She also hoped that Ivorypaw would be confident and feel up to going to the fight to heal all the severly wounded.The little apprentice was confident at times and at other times she would let herself down.But she will never give up though.She was pround for little Ivorypaw,and hoped her mentor was too.

Then she saw Ivorypaw coming over to join Shadowpelt.

The cream pelted she-cat ploped right in front of Shadowpelt."Hello Shadowpelt."She said grimly."Im sorry.Im just..angry at my mentor!I didn't mean to say that,its just,Nightwind never trains me much anymore.I care for her dearly,but i wish she could train me more often."She said honestly to her friend.

The gray she-cat came prodding up to the two other she-cats."Hello Shadowpelt,Ivorypaw."She nodded ellegantly at the two cats once she approached.Then said what she had to say,"I cant beleive we have to stay behind and guard camp.Why cant we fight for the clans peace too against the wolves?Its not fair!"She pouted.She scuttled to the fresh kill pile glumly and grabbed a mouse and scuttled back.She ploped down and tore into her vole as if she were attacking the leader to get some sense into him.Thern she mumbled to herself,"Thet stupid furrball you call a leader!Hes so...so...unreasonable!Stupid pice of fox dung..."She trailed off,swiping her tounge over her chops.Her lips were stained with blood from being messy with the dead mouse.She bolted up,arching her back and hissing furiously.Her fur was bristleing and she leaped towards Ivorypaw,claws unsheathed.

The cream colored she-cat tried to flee,but was so frieghtened that she fell.Rainriver landed on her,claws sinking into Ivorypaws flesh.She thought for a quick moment.She had stopped by and watched the warrior training alot so she could probably do some techniqes she saw.Ivorypaw flipped Rainriver over and sank her teeth into Rainrivers shoulder.She yelped out in pain as Ivorypaw rtipped her shoulder flesh off.Then Ivorypawstarted clawing at her soft belly flesh with all her fury raging out of her.Shadowpelt bowled her over, leaving Rainriver lieing there.her sides heaving."What were you thinking?!"Started Shadowpelt,"Your a medicine cat.Your supposed tokeep peace"She contined calmly glancing at Rainriver."Now go over there and start tending to her wounds."She orderd briskly.Ivorypaw shook her head in reply.Shadowpelt picked the young cat up by the scruff and carried her over there to Rainriver.

She dangled Ivorypaw by the scruff and ploped her down by Rainriver."Now help her." She demanded.Ivorypaw started to do her medicine cat work.And Rainriver was up and walking soon again."Are you ok now Rainriver?" She asked sympathetically.Rainriver nodded in return.Now all three cats were wandering around Nightclan territories.Ivorypaw was the first to speak,"So...why did you start attacking me anyways?"She asked Rainriver.

Rainriver-

I dont know.I just got really angry and and took it out on..."She trailed off,her eyes wide with fear and her mouth gaping.She backed up a few paces."Whats wrong?"Asked Ivorypaw.It was a badger.Heading towards Ivorypaw."Look out!!!"Yelled Rainriver.She leaped into Ivorypaws side,bowling her over.The badger skidded past them.Then turned around and headed to Shadow pelt and Rainriver.Shadowplet took a place gaurding Ivorypaw.Then Rainriver charged towards the badger teeth bearing and claws unsheathed.She grasped the badgerby the ear and tore it off.Then she started ripping into it's fur and trying to kill it with all her strength.

The badger bounded off in defeat.Rainriver was badly wounded."Maybe we should tell this to Silverclaw."She said weakly.

The little she-cat nodded,breathing heavily from the powerful force of when Rainriver knocked her over."Thenk you so much Rainriver you saved my life!"She congratulated.Then they all headed back to camp.

Once they reached camp,They looked around,still half tramatized.That was when Rainriver collapsed."Are you ok?Tell me whats wrong."She said looking over Rainriver.Once Rainriver said what she felt like,Ivorypaw nodded and darted off to the med cat den.

She watched her friend dart into the den then turned back to Rainriver."Why did you collapse?You walked back home ok."That was when she became suspcious,"What are you going to do?"She narrowed her eyes at Rainriver.

Rainriver-

She lifted her head and stood up with embarrassment."I have to go do somthing..."She said with sorrow in her eyes.She had been lying to Ivorypaw.She felt fine,but her wounds did sting a bit.She was going to see a long lost sister of hers.No body knew about this either.Her sister was born a clan cat,but then....she moved away to become a kittypet.Rainriver was so ,mad anfd embarssed that she attacked Shadowpelt.She clamped onto Shadowpelts whiskers and ripped all of them off.She yelped out in pain.Then Rainriver gave a fierce blow to shadowpelt.She fell back in pain,and thats when Rainriver darted off.

Once she reached a Twoleg home,she saw her sister sitting on the fence.Her sister was a blue graty cat also,with green eyes.Her tail was curled neatly around her paws,and her pink kittypaet collor bell was waving in the wind.She was neatly groomed unlike her clan cat sister.Rainriver was caked in mud.and her hair had dried into spikes.

She looked up at her sister and yelled,"Hello Fernpelt!"Her sister swung her head around to face her sister.Then she replied,"Good evening Rainriver!And remember,my name is Prissy now."She said with a smile.She leaped down from the fence,trotted over to her sister and stuckher nose in her fur.Then rainriver turned around and put her forehead on her sisters forehead."I miss you so much...prissy."She mumbled sadly."Why cant you join my clan?"She asked picking up her head."Because...I dont like clans.Its too violent."She said with sorrow in her eyes.Then there was a twoleg voice sounding from inside the house."Prissy!"It said.Then prissy waved goodbye and dissapeared inside the house.

Once Rainriver returned to camp,everyone was staring at her with pure hatred.Then she dissapeared into the warriors den and fell asleep.
