Orchid eyes glinted from the veil of the shadows, gradually narrowing. Petite whiskers shivered with adrenaline and thrill. They tiny figure anxiously peered over her shoulder, ensuring herself the cave still remained unendorsed. Exhaling the slightest, Heatherkit addressed her siblings. “Bladekit, Searkit, now is the perfect time to execute the plan.” She whispered so low, almost inaudible. “Pinefrost has gone sun bathing with some other warriors, great stars knows she takes forever to come back. And Silverspirit is discussing some debates with senior warriors and elders, most ensured it does take much, much time to end and settle. And many of the warriors and apprentices are busy with assessments.”
Heatherkit paused. “The best place is to go north, to the misty slopes. Since it just rained recently, mentors won’t like to train there and no one will be hunting since it’s such a poor place to find prey.”[/i] Heatherkit paced out to the entrance, remaining half shielded by shadows. “We can’t go to the river in the west since it’s a popular place for hunting assessments. The east is even worse though with hunting, more assessments, and other on goings.”[/i] She abruptly revolved around, her brilliant orchid glowing in the dusky light. “The south is the last place we will tread. That’s where Silverspirit is holding the meeting and where Pinefrost is sunbathing. Great stars know how much trouble we’ll get in if we’re caught be either of them.”
Heatherkit breathed, forcing her mind to calculate every possible fall and curve, triple checking what she heard was precise. “Alright, we’ll have to leave soon while it’s still clear.”[/i] She circled around; her back faced against her siblings, her face clear as stone. This is all perfect. She thought. As long as my brothers actually listen to me and we get the timing right, we’ll be flying free. [/b]
