ooc:// oh dear.. it's been quite some time since i last rped. D: i might be a tad rusty...
Golden orbs gazed out lazily over the land, searching nothing in particular. Ashenblade released an inaudible, but exasperated sigh. It was yet another uneventful night where the deputy could not find the exhaustion required to slip into the blissful veil of unconsciousness. So instead of listening to her lucky comrades slumber the hours away, Ashenblade went on her own nightly venture. Ashenblade ascended to a stand and circled around to depart until noises bubbled not far in the distance. The deputy's whiskers twitched with curiosity and the thought of potential thrill after so many dull suns void of action.
Ashenblade rapidly closed the distance between her position and the borderline, yet flawlessly remained concealed with her pallid white fur blending her in with the thin blanket of snow that rested serenely on the frigid ground. As she neared, she remained veiled by the shadows of a bush neighboring not far from the border. Her golden eyes observed with interest as she witnessed the violation the unfamiliar cat had just performed what seemed to be unknowingly. Her eyes snapped toward the partner the other cat as the young orange female glanced around timidly. Ashenblade frowned for a moment. She stabbed her jowl in the air and allowed the wind to consume her with the foreign scents.
FaintClan. Her senses instructed her. Ashenblade examined the two strangers carefully. They look no more than newly apprentices. She told herself. No real threat. But this is the most eventful thing that has happened at all over the last long while. Ashenblade's eye glinted dangerously as she slowly prowled out of the bush, allowing herself to become exposed. Her lethal claws quivered with excitement and anticipation. Her muscles pumped and tensed.
"Well, well," Her silky, toxic voice slipped out. "I would say some of you have wandered astray from home." It wasn't Ashenblade's true intent to do any real harm against these young cats. A little startle should suffice. Ashenblade thought to herself. She glanced at the hare. "Outside of your encampment in the dead of night, no authority supervision, infiltrating another's territory, and hunting prey not on your own land? Goodness, the faults keep multiplying, don't they?" The deputy kept her eyes trained impeccably on the two young cats, taking in every twitch and sound. "What have you to say for yourselves?" Ashenblade honestly couldn't care less about the reasoning the strangers had to share. She expected the daily, usual lame excuses all cats said, like how they didn't scent the border as they chased the prey over the border unknowingly or other lines that have been repeated feverishly to the point where even other creatures of different tongue should comprehend it.
Ashenblade stood there somewhat impatiently. Her tail flicked with boredom as she slowly came to believe that this event was rapidly losing any potential interest she thought that it once held. Just two unknowingly apprentices who were bored, so they decided to explore. She concluded. Yippee.[/blockquote]
