Silvergrace stalked out of her den, the chilly breeze of a leaf-bare dawn ruffling her fur. Although she would rather sleep in the warm mossy nest in her den, she knew it was time for the dawn patrols. The camp was starting to wake up. She saw Starsight stalk out of the den to start assigning patrols, and Cheetahwind's mischevous kits climbing on the rocks and tossing scraps of moss to eachother. She padded over to the warriors den, prodding a couple of cats with a paw, then continied in the apprentices den. Finally, she took herself a mouse and settled beside Starsight and a couple of other warriors. "I will lead the dawn patrol today."-she meowed.

"Would you mind if I come along?" asked Starsight. "There's not much to do around camp today and the fresh kill pile is full. I wouldn't mind feeling the wind through my fur on a sunny day such as this." She got to her paws, shook the dirt from her pelt, and looked around. "Who else shall acompanie us?" |

"I would like to accompany if you don't," meowed Shadowpelt. She had just come over and over heard the patrols. "I wouldn't mind coming.

ooc: Lionstorm, please try to make your RP post at least three or four lines. Tip: Include how your charrie is feeling, what he/she sees outside, and what he/she currently does(you can flick/wrap your tail around your paws, twitch your whiskers, make your eyes glint...Also, please finish the sentences completely. Eg: I would like to accompany if you don't **** what? And please close the quotation marks on your character's words.
bic: Silvergrace looked at Starsight, deliberating quickly in her mind. Starsight wasn't deputy for long, and sometimes she forgot her responsibilities, such as appointing patrols, but that was part of learning to be deputy. "Starsight."-she meowed curtly. "You can come, just after you assign the patrols. I will pick another two cats that will come."
She turned just in time to hear Shadowpelt's words, that appeared to help her greatly. "Yes, you can come."-she responded, while turning back and going into the Warriors Den to find the other cat.

"Oh yes, it would have been disaterous if I had forgotten," she replied. "I'll only be a moment." But at that moment, she spotted a butterfly at the edge of the clearing and padded towards it. I wonder how it flys, she thought. Her eyes studied the butterfly, taking in every detail of the wings and body. There are so many creatures that are do different from cats, as if they're from a different world. But if we could discovery the secret lives of other animals, would that make our lives easier, our Clan stronger? She watched as the butterfly fluttered it's wings twice, landed on her nose for a second, and flew off; sunlight gleaming off it's wing. "Oh, dear," she muttered. " I was supposed to be organizing patrols, wasn't I?" |
