Blackkit hissed again, now in annoyance rather than anger or fear of getting caught. "OK, I am sorry."-he flattened his ears to his head as he spoke, as if not exactly understanding why or for what he had to apologize. Of course, many cats had told him he is too selfish to notice feelings of other cats, but he never did pay attention, choosing to shrug it off rather than accepting his character. "I know you probably think of me as mean and bossy, or whatever,"- the black tom let out another hiss, now with an angry edge. "But if you want to get out of the camp without getting in trouble, please follow me." He flicked his tail, letting the two kits through.

Of course the deaf kit heard none of this, but he had felt Blackkit's hot breath brush past his neck fur, a sign that he was frustrated soon changing to anger. The tortoiseshell tom rolled his dim gray eyes, flecks of black showing that he was still harboring anger even if apologies were made. Though he could not blame his brother for being angry, after all he had to put up with a blind kit and deaf mute kit; cutting off a sharp hiss, Molttedkit ceased his angry stomping and took a seat on the forest floor, pushing down with his tail so Hauntedkit would know she should stop and wait as well. Flipping his head to gaze at Blackkit, claws ripping at the roots collected underneath him, the damp leaves turning his dry fur wet.[/color]
