Shadowpelt ;;
The moons still lingered high in the dark sky, ash colored clouds threatened a storm. The damaged warrior shook her body, drops of blood flinging off her bloody, shaggy, muddy fur. Her eyes blurred as the world tilted back and forth. Her head and tail hung low to the ground. Her shoulder remained mangled and the deep lacerations on the side of her face stung like a badger had just mauled her. She staggered through the forest, picking up scents of other clans as she stumbled into the clearing of Fourtrees. The leaves of the tall oak trees fluttered in the silent breeze. Shadowpelt smelled Ivoryshine's scent. her mind reeled as fury urged her on at a limp. But she stopped, knowing she was far too weak to attempt a kill now. The female dropped her her side, dust escaping and being carried far away from her until is disapeared into the night. Her breathing became rapid and shallow. My own clan's medicine cat even tried to kill me. Shadowpelt didn;t want to live anymore; Not in this abandoned forest. She closed her eyes and let her fatigue take over.
The whole world seemed to glow with a bright shine as she limped weakly down a moonlit path that led to a clearing. She saw what was a group of starry figures huddled in the clearing. Was she dead?
Shadowpelt ingored her mangled shoulder and heavily bleeding face and limped quickly, almost a slow lope as she hurried toward the bundle of stars. It was Silverclan.
She stopped, the translucent cats standing like stones only a few tail lengths away. Silverclan. Shadowpelt said strongly. The cats didn't speak, one just bowed it's head. She didn't know who any of these cats were. She was young and she isolated herself away from every cat.
Please take me. She said weaker, ducking her head but her faded blue eyes still locked on the starry, silver tinted cats. They all stared at her, their gazes burning deep into her flesh. She felt as if a thousand cat's were forcing her to the ground, pushing with all their strength. Her belly pressed firmly to the ground. She felt as if she were sinking, her bones taking in all the force. Then, fear shot through her like fire in a forest.
She was being cast away to the Dark Forest.
No! They all stared blankly at her as she sunk lower into the cold, hard earth. She squeezed her eyes tightly shut, allowing them to push her as far as they wanted. Then, it felt as if her ribs had shattered and the wind was forced out of her weak lungs. She opened her eyes wide, taking in the dark fog that lingered throughout the shadowy, dense forest. Wails of pain and fear echoed around, ringing in Shadowpelt's ears. she tried to wake up...but as hard as she tried, she couldn't. No...no! No! I can't be dead! No! She wailed hoarsly but no one seemed to hear her. She was gone forever. Ivoryshine had killed her and now she needed revenge. Ivoryshine had caused her to walk the afterlife of eternal suffering.
